Cocurricular activity. Mehndi competition. The inherent skill of designing mehndi on palms is prevalent in gujrati community. So much so that even the very young children pick it up from their parents. Svp school organised this competition every year to maintain the beautiful tradition of mehndi that is popular worldwide and instil a feeling of pride in these young ones for their art and culture.
I got my palms also printed by at least 25 of them. Each one making one small pattern. The happy look on their faces make my day.
